Reset Day 2

Today felt a little tougher. The Reset Program is actually labeled the “High Fibre Cleanse program”. Every food item has a lot of fiber in it to cleanse out the toxins in our body. Fiber is a very popular topic these days and is added in a lot of health products cause it does some pretty great stuff which includes taking all the bad stuff in our body and leaves with it. This program is more than just weight loss. It’s a de-tox.

Exercise
I did something a little unorthodox. I went to the mall. Spend about…2.5 hours there, just walking around. I even counted my steps to make sure I was hitting at least 3k. I know it’s not the best, but I just didn’t feel like going to the gym and really wanted to go to the mall. Going to do my usual ab and gluts regiment before I sleep.

Other foods
I didn’t drink ALL of my Nutrimeals today. Woke up after noon, so only drank 2 meals and ate half a snack bar. I didn’t think I would like the Oatmeal Raisin bar, but it’s pretty good! If you’ve ever had a Bear Paw, it’s pretty much like that consistency, except made with oatmeal. I bought a cup of unsweetened iced tea at Starbucks to wash down the snack bar with. Yum!

Extra activities
Still haven’t gotten to doing anything extra yet. TV is too distracting! I watched Dr.Phil (for the first time) because he was talking about domestic violence and then Ellen came on and I can never say no to her. Can you???

Physically
Not much different from yesterday. My legs feel a little “tighter” I guess? Not as bumpy definitely…..Ok, I need to get to Lenscrafters, my glasses are killing me.

Emotionally
Normally, I say no to buying snacks by telling myself I should either not spend money on it or I’m not that hungry and shouldn’t eat something unhealthy. I’ve never really noticed how often that happens when I go out. As in, I encounter a lot of instances when I see some food that interests me and eventually turn it down. Today, there were a lot of times when I thought, “Hmmm, that looks pretty good.” But instead of my usual routine, I had to think “I can’t eat that”. It felt pretty restrictive and made me want it more!

It’s true that you want what you can’t have. I didn’t even really want to eat that stuff, but now that I can’t have it I REALLY WANT IT. Maybe I should just not go out.
