USANA Health Sciences’ Reset Program

I interrupt my Trip Reports to bring you this live update! :p

Starting tomorrow for the next 10 days, I will be taking part in a back-to-back Reset program. The purpose of this program is to 1)Lose weight and 2) “reset” my body to a low-glycemic level and to curb my cravings.

The regular Reset program is a 5-day challenge that comes with single packets of the meal replacement shake powder, Nutrimeal, Nutribars in 3 different flavours and 5 days worth of HealthPaks.

A group of us at Usana have decided to challenge ourselves to eat nothing but what’s provided in the pack, along with some fruits and veggies, to see who can lose the most weight. We all weighed, measured and even took pictures so we can compare our results. I’m hoping to lose 10 pounds in 10 days!

So, starting tomorrow, I won’t be eating anything but Nutrimeal and Nutribars. Bye bye daily milk tea. I have been drinking the Nutrimeal every morning as breakfast and have already seen results because of that, but I’m anxious to see what kind of progress I can make on a 10-day program.

I’ll be back to report on this daily. Just an activity log really…you know what? Let’s make me a format. Starting tomorrow night, I will report daily on:
1)What sort of exercise I did and for how long
2)What else I ate other than what’s in the program (including drinks)
3)Extra activities I don’t normally do
4)How I feel physically
5)How I feel emotionally
6)A photo of front and side view

I won’t record how much I weigh or measure myself so I can see the difference in the end.

Let’s get this baby started!
