Summer To Do list

Now that summer has FINALLY arrived, YC and I have decided to make a list of things that we must accomplish by the end of the summer, inspired by Suzumiya Haruhi’s horrible Endless Eight debacle.

This is a list for the both of us. I haven’t decided whether I should add another list of stuff I myself want to accomplish, but I’ll think about it.

This list feels pretty complete so far, but we MAY add things in as we go, when we are reminded of stuff we want to do.

-Zombies!!! game night! It’s been a while since we’ve played a game, so we will dedicate a night to play it again! With 4-6 people, this game needs at least 4-5 hours.

-Wasaga beach in Collingwood! It’s been YEARS since I’ve been to the Georgian Bay beach and I’ve been wanting to rent a cottage with my friends for a night or two to go have some beach fun for 2 years now.

-BBQ. I think either host it or help out in one. Mmm, bbq ribs.

-Comedy Club. We really like Absolut Comedy but might try somewhere else. We’re both big fans of stand-up.

-Centre Island. It’s become a summer tradition to spend a day on Centre Island, hanging out on the beach and renting a quadracycle for a ride around the island.

-Medival Times. Been dying to go back here and can’t wait to go with A.!

-Pool time. We have a public pool just minutes walk away from the apartment. Let’s hope we’re able to get to it!

-Picnic. I love packing food for picnics. There are so many nice places in Toronto to have one too.

-Waterpark. I know that season pass for Wonderland that we have includes entry into the waterpark, but let’s hope it gets nice and hot enough for us to actually enjoy it!

And that’s our to do list for the summer! All images courtesy of Google images.

Great list! I’m in with you on game night, picnic, bbq, centre island, medieval times and maybe the waterpark(only cause of Mr.S)

I don’t think we can rent a cottage for two nights, can we?
We tried that last time and it didn’t work out so well.

Where did you try to rent the cottage? Since we’ll have a car, we don’t have to worry about being right on the beach.

A couple of years ago, my family rented a cottage thing for two nights at the base of Blue Mountain. The website I rented from also had tons of other cottages littered all over Collingwood that you can rent.

I remember my friend saying that he could only get the cabin for a week and not for two days. *shrug* I guess that’s why you shouldn’t let amateurs plan anything.

Do you think a picnic/bbq at centre island is too much work?
I guess since none of us have a propane tank thinger right?

I don’t mind a picnic at Centre Island, but a bbq is a bad idea cause I don’t want us to lug a cooler on and off the island. It’s just too much work and it’s not like we have a wagon. And even if we did, we’d have to carry that around on the subway, so no thank you.

I was hoping to have a picnic at high park?
